Inari the ricer-bearer is the patron deity of agriculture and industry and he/she also tends to be almost always depicted in a benevolent light, to the point that kitsune, usually depicted as cruel tricksters, are depicted as much more amicable when being used as inari's messengers
then there's various guardian deities that protect the areas surrounding their shrines so long as their shrines are properly maintained and proper rites of respect and gratitude are observed.
