Huh, do we have any idea of where Sou-chan lives? I got curious and tried to sleuth out where her place might be, and all I got is that she's in the Amakusa islands in Kumamoto prefecture, most likely on Ueshima or Oyano Island. That's all I could get since everything is so small over there and I'm sure a sunkissed genki tomboy can cover quite a lot of ground with a bicycle.

The best clues we have are the aquarium they go to multiple times (Sea Donut Aquarium on Maejima Island), the "top of the mountain" lookout (found a couple of places that could match, but I'm not 100% sure), a Niko Nikoya department store that I couldn't find, and the Amakusa Shirou statue but again I couldn't find a perfect match.
Realistically Sou could live anywhere on Ueshima or Oyano and just bike her way across the entire island as our whole potential area is like 40km by 20km if you include Shimoshima island just in case.

I'm borderline dekinai but I checked the raws and fortunately her sentence is really simple (thank the Lord for furigana), a shitty literal translation would be something like "After all, I also want Nozomu-kun to be the one who decides."
So it seems that Sou mentioning that she ALSO wants him to be the one to choose is important and should be retained in the final translated sentence.

I wanna say there’s a bit, but it’s been pretty slow and more about SoL (essentially about our MC getting more and more acquainted to the countryside and the people there). I think recent chapters have been picking up the romance side very slightly though.
