I saw a listing for this Yukari Griffon Enterprises figure released over a decade ago for cheap in my country. The seller seems amicable and even provided additional pictures upon asking, but I've heard some damning things about Griffon Enterprises like how QC can be all over the place and such, so I'm not sure how reliable the seller's pictures are in the first place. It's cheap enough that it's not money I would be too pissed off wasting on a shit figurine, but I'd rather not have a shit figurine in the first place. On the other hand, the allure of a decade old Touhou figure from GF is pretty strong, even if I'm not as attached to Touhou anymore as I was.
Does pic related look legit enough? This is my first time buying second hand, so pardon the excessive caution. I'm concerned about the lack of additional plastic between the figure itself and the plastic shell, but looking at MFC it seems it doesn't have it in the first place. I'm willing to bite the bullet but I'd rather not get into knockoffs just yet.

What's something you've come to accept you hope will change someday? For me, it's Dragon Ball having no scales and male figures never getting any love. I'd like a figure of Aoki and Kimura from Ippo, Sato from Ajin, any of the male characters from Kekkai Sensen or Gantz, thunderbolt fantasy scales etc... that and it seems the the best craftmanship into figures all goes to gatcha. Too big for limited space situations, too small for everything else. 1/7 are good for figures that are naturally big based on the original artwork where going bigger would cause logistical issues for most collectors, see pic related as an example, the figure is already 45cm tall and has a huge base. 1/6 and beyond are always better for characters/artwork that don't need that much space to begin with, because it lets the details shine.
