Asa isn't dying because she's 'Chainsaw Woman', she embodies the same themes of endless persitence in the face of adversity as Denji does, the parallels she has with him exist for a reason. She is a traumatized teenager with no support that constantly has her wants and needs exploited by figures of authority seeking to gain something from her, yet in spite of suffering she clings to life due to the promise of a better one. Every single decision she has made in the story was to survive, despite having increasingly good reasons to off herself. Fujimoto unfortunately isn't a traditionally trained manga artist, but an oil painter, so he probably lacks the technique to draw fast and good. He has been learning on the job how to draw manga, and had some veteran artists assisting him early on.
Contrary to public opinion, he CAN draw but it takes time, more time than he can afford for a weekly manga, atleast without neglecting his health.
