This was addressed a few chapters back.
The Blade reshapes the nervous system to be the shape necessary to use the Blade's sorceries, and then it holds it in place. Once the contract was broken, Uruha's nervous system slowly shifted back to their original shape, now that the Blade was no longer holding it in place.
Thats why he initially couldn't move his body, his nervous system was in the process of moving back to their original positions. The very fact that he is up and about and moving around, means that his nervous system is not burned out and intact. Otherwise, he'd be a vegetable in a wheelchair.
I can see there being some side effect and backlash, though. Some limitation on his sorcery, like Hakuri after he experienced some nerve fuckery.

I haven't checked out Ichi yet but it seems to have a pretty dedicated fanbase to me, I think they should keep trying to push it. At least let it get an anime (when it's time for one) and see what happens.

realistically could chihiro rape hiyuki? he might be a little stronger than her in battle, but could he pin her down and rape her? i highly doubt she would just let herself get raped since she can probably out power chihiro in brute strength with flame bone. shiba might be able to do it since he might be faster, perhaps he could teleport around her and confuse her allowing an opening for him to rape her? in terms of other sorcerers that could immobilize her i can only think of the two memory sorcerers but sojo killed them. on second thought maybe if sojo were still alive he could have used mei to freeze her in place so he could rape her, but then you have to account for flame bone again. could hiyuki unfreeze herself from mei in time before she got raped? that begs the question of how long would the rape even be? you would have to take into consideration factors such as how backed up each male is. for instance chihiro has likely never had sex before so he would probably finish quickly but someone more experienced with sex and rape like sojo or tafuku would last longer. speaking of tafuku, he would be a great asset for raping hiyuki since he can trap her in his pocket dimension, and unless they rape her so much she passes out, she wouldnt be able to escape unless she managed to knock someone trying to rape her out.
