But it was still there. The reason she even cooked at his place was because she was convinced that he would never develop those kinds of feelings for her. I'm not saying that he maliciously fooled her into letting her guard down or anything, but her having her guard down around him definitely helped in her getting to know him better as a person, which placed him in a position nobody has ever been in before.

Thanks to Mahiru's show I started reading other LNs with a similar premise, but none of them hit quite the same.
