This garbage made way too much money on Mugen Train, now they’ll never adapt the final arc into seasons and cram everything into some jank films the west will pretend are pinnacles of animated storytelling. This is unironically gonna spoil iconic scenes like Genya getting Koku’d, how are you supposed to process the moment without a week of ennui?

Probably because he has a longer memory span than a goldfish and remembers new demons go on mindless murder rampages until they eat people and get their mind back. The ONE demon in the entire series who managed to hold back her bloodlust got so brainfucked she literally could not speak for years and had the reasoning skills of an actual fucking toddler for several of those years.

If he accepted he'd just eat everyone there and Muzan would brainfuck him if he tried to kill Akaza.

So…WHY did Nezuko not go eat people? Was she the super special destined sun-walker noble demon? Is it that demons can in fact control themselves if they really want to? Which is it? She was turned by Muzan the same as countless others. Was it a function of her superhuman magical blood heritage? Meaning if Tanjiro turned, he’d be able to withstand it too?
