I know they censored Garterbelt, recasted Kneesocks due to her old VA retiring and now they won't be allowed to have Scanty and Kneesocks as a incestuous couple due to the newer Japanese laws, but the show is being done at Trigger and they HAD people who previously work at Gainax so unless they all left there must be at least one member from the OG Gainax crew still working on this project, right?

the only good shows trigger has are third party IPs, so that should be your answer.

It won't be as edgy as the original season, it would be heavily toned down not to offend any of the usual groups, fans would be in denial about it being toned down and will claim it is as good and edgy as ever because of the excitement of seeing the series back
It would be the same as to what happens with the new Family Guy episodes where they're heavily censored and toned down but fans are in denial and keep watching

I'm confident the OST will at least be good as Teddyroid is reprising his role on the OST.

The rest of it though? Not really super confident due to the already prevalent censorship and the fact they're have an uncensored and then censored version on top of the already egregious censorship of removing fucking crosses which literally nobody gave a fuck about is a huge red flag. probably most of them. who did you think was making this? the original series was not profitable enough for some random execs to decide to make a season 2 15 years later. this only came to be because the gainax shitshow has finally ended and imaishi ended up regaining rights to ttgl and psg.
