I think the reason behind that is that the manga goes all out with detail, causing the details to blend together. The WC is far more minimalistic, adding specific details only when necessary, so they can stand out compared to everything else. If a picture is a thousand words, the manga is a thick book while the webcomic is a concise and powerful phrase.

I think (and I am talking out of my ass here, but I do believe it) that ONE might be a bit of a pushover.

It's understandable than a younger, less known, author coming out of a webcomic and with the artistic abilities of child might feel it hard to correct harshly a veteran author, even if said author. Specially when the Manga version has such success and people love Murata's designs so much It's worth mention that I think ONE grew a lot as an artist over time and has always been really good at planning the panels and implying the movement, and designing the poses (as we saw in this arc), amongst other things but that's not really the point

It might very well be that he gets steamrolled or prefers to not participate when Murata starts pulling shit out, because otherwise the straight up contradictions between webcomic and manga (of which we will see more and more from now on) wouldn't make a lick of sense.
Because the biggest naysayers might still like to say it's all ONE's writing, but if it was the case it begs the question why have the same character be so incredibly different between one work and the other, even ignoring filler.

The flip-book chapters in the early manga were indeed very well done, but if they were being released every other chapter they would feel less and less grand each time. The same principle applies here with this double-spread. We sat through so many already throughout this arc.
If Murata wanted to escalate, he probably should've went for an all-out four-page spread, but at that point you can consider the content thoroughly drowned by the icing. Not to mention we already sat through the shitty GPU Garou design and the fucked-up Psykos jet fight, so it just raises questions of how he managed to screw the pooch on those designs so badly when draftsmanship was supposed to be what he was good at.

Finally got to say this. I think ONE never intended for his characters to be as destructive as they are shown in the manga. The anime only exaggerated this problem with its interpretation and original scenes. Murata scaling every fight and punch way up has cheapened what are supposed to be actual feats (Saitama v Garou, Tatsumaki turning MA inside out).
Same goes for character design, of course. ONE has been making his characters more elaborate as of late, webigaza___ being the worst offender. But it absolutely does not compare with the overdesigned, over-textured slop murata shat out.

There basically aren't any discernible feats in the WC aside of Speed-O-Sound Sonic even which you have to go by his name, not that it's doubtful.
ONE's whole thing is keeping things vague feat-wise, none even, which is why the characters are always awe inducing when they display their physical prowess on each others as opposed to environmental scales as it leaves it up to the interpretation of the readers.
Of course there will debates about who is more powerful and but not like that.
