5/10. It had an interesting premise and really good art, but it's obvious that the author has no idea what to do with the script. The story so far looks like a beginner's playthrough of Dragon Quest with the names of the characters and places changed to names from a Wikipedia article on Nordic mythology. In addition, the author constantly adds an excess of elements and text boxes in his pages that distract the reading and worsen the action sequences, which are mediocre mos of the time.

1/10. I only read the first chapter before dropping it. The art is bad, the main characters were unlikable, and none of the gags made me smile. Even Murakami, a gag manga that almost everyone hated, was more funny than this. Maybe the jokes are too Japanese for me...

The art looks good in static scenarios but looks awful when the characters are in movement, and the characters while not being ugly or unlikable, are blatant copypaste of common tropes from yaoi/fujo bait stories. Harukaze is a 6/10 with decent potential, depending on how good it makes its first match will decide its fate.
Kaedegami is a 8/10 so far, pretty tight writing so far and striking artstyle and characters. I think this one is gonna be a success.
Ekiden is a 4/10, axebait imo, especially from this batch which is better than usual on average.
Ping Pong Peril (PPP) had a good first chapter (6.5/10) but im not sure if it will live. This type of setup needs a lot of whacky characters and over the top situation but the first chapter villain was very dull. The guy should've been one of the goons of the actual boss who would be the player.

I never said it was unpopular. It was never as popular as DB or Naruto until the late 2010's. and after covid is where the majority of sales it gotten. It wasn't talked about anywhere as much nor bought as much. When Naruto was at 17M in france, One piece was at 6 million with 20 more volumes released in the early 2010's.
