The thing with Kinnikuman is that, in Japan, kids are still watching reruns of it. It's still ever-present, same with Dragon Ball and Saint Seiya and the Matsumoto anime, that's why these don't tend to get remakes.
Most anime remakes that do exist have express purposes:
>Hunter x Hunter (2011)Madhouse wanted to fully capitalize on potential merch they could make and so rebooted the anime.
>Urusei Yatsura"Best of" type anime designed to, again, capitalize on merch.
>Fullmetal Alchemist BrotherhoodPlanned second series. Was always in the works.
>Ranma 1/2Re-adaptation to be more faithful to the manga since the original was laden with filler and never finished.
>YaibaPassion project + the original never reached the ending.
>Saint SeiyaWest driven production.
There is no real reason to redo Kinnikuman in such a way. Even Dragon Ball Kai itself, while not a remake, did have an express purpose- it was time slot filler.
