It's a bit refreshing we got to see this side of Tenichi, usually he's way more cool and rarely blushes, but this time I guess he can't resist the Honoka-esque face + aggresive adult wokan combo

Lately, I feel like the adult women in stock romcom harems have become girl failures in what I guess is an attempt to offset any predatory nature to it. Basically, "she's an immature, needy failure of an adult, so she's on the same level as a high school boy". So it's interesting to see what appears to be a competent one again.

I don't hate it, but am midly curious if is gonna turn into something worth reading, it just feels bland whenever I read it, something so bland that that is technically a Romcom but it doesn't spark anything out of me.
The art is competent and clean but very boring.
The character design is...certainly japanese, that's all I can say.
I don't follow it, I follow enough Romcoms as it is, but I wish I could stop compulsively checking for updates every day.

That's pretty common in harem series. The thing that takes it too far is the fact that, realistically, most of the girls should be way out of the MC's reach. One is a gravure model, another is the president of a company, and now we have an idol. Kanai is the normal one, but she's also canonically one of the school's most popular girls.

More romcoms should pull an Oreimo and allow the MC to date one of the side heroines midway through. It can last for two volumes of three, then they can break up and allow the main heroine to take him instead.
