Drummers are not popular, neither are bass players. Vocals or guitarists. That's all that matters in a band. You can be popular if you're god tier and attractive, but if you're not, the frontman is king.
Also Bocchi is much more interesting in terms of personal growth. I would have much preferred, however, if they had gotten to the school concert and were a bust due to hecklers from a rival band or something and Bocchi saves the day by stepping forward and playing one of her songs from her youtube channel and people realising it is her. Or the group finding out it is her. Instead we have Nijika knowing and her sister knowing (and being retarded in telling her she knows). Then instead of Bocchi trying to crowd surf she realises what she has done and collapses. Wakes up and the band is like 'Wow you were so good you saved the show'. Having Bocchi save the bar concert didn't really feel earned and would have been better for the final episode (I assume there is no S2 coming, but might be wrong).
