Technically, Bofoi himself completely burned his image for Genos before that in the meteor incident, as well as other of his behaviors such as not coming to the meetings of the S-class heroes, not coming to help against the alien invasion and only coming to get the weapons as soon as the ship crashed, not helping against the monster association and so on probably helped considerably in the ease with which Genos believed the accusations against him. Especially when even Saitama pointed out that he had no interest in helping after the meteor incident.
So yes, Bofoi is very much at fault for ruining his own image with his own behavior even without anyone doing anything.

This is the right idea, this is how I build my battleships and titans in Stellaris. Have a big fuckoff cannon or two to deal with anything large or at range, and dump thousands of autonomous strike craft to deal with anything quick enough to get close. Anything small gets fought on equal terms and overwhelmed because your drones are expendable, anything medium sized gets swarmed like a bee ball.

This is very important because with this and the massive size of the robot it would make the massive numbers of the enemy's giant army of 4 million robots irrelevant.

I am genuinely fucking baffled at how the webcomic is so much better than the manga. This isn't even a matter of opinion it's objective. Factual. So many good moments this past week. So I'm left with a question: when ONE said this, was he referring to the Mob from the end of the series that had already recovered this power, or was he referring to the Mob from before that, without including the power of "???" ?

Just want to say that this last chapter dropping in concert with this dump was a great moment of serendipity. I love finding something new to appreciate in a reread, and I’ve been keeping up a pretty good streak with a bunch of the recent storytimes. I think the endgame is Saitama meeting Blast, but I don't think they'll fight; instead I think it'll be a discussion. Similar to when Saitama first met King and still thought he was actually super strong, and instead of asking King for a spar, he asked him how he dealt with the boredom. Only in this case, Blast is actually the real deal.
And then we'll explore what caused Blast to actually step away from Hero business, maybe since it was just a hobby he simply lost his passion for it, or maybe he could no longer find time for it with his 'proper job'. Perhaps it ends with Blast helping Saitama find some kind of fulfillment in his hobby that he had been missing, while Saitama helps Blast reignite his former hobby as a hero.
Or maybe it ends in a big punch off.

It's more that most of their heroes either left, retired, were injured, went missing, took a hiatus, are fat, only care about one city, or off on secret missions at the time, so Drive Knight was the only one still active and managing to kill all the monsters he came across at that particular point in time.
Remember that this is from a report to McCoy at Neo Tower, so its purpose is to show that the Hero Association is increasingly unreliable and lacking in resources, providing a perfect opportunity for Neo to take charge. It's not about Drive Knight playing nice, but just the Association being in shambles.
