It may not be strictly a harem, but it has a lot of those stupid tropes that don't fit with the dark atmosphere we were promised in the first chapter.

It's like 90% of that world is generic fantasy on the surface, and only GS is the only one who witnesses the 10% of the terrifying shit in that world. In fact, many characters are unaware of this part of their world until they get mixed up in GS's "adventures" or 10 seconds before their death, "Goblins in hordes are dangerous! Why didn't anyone tell me?"

As the other anon said, GS stands up best as a solo story with occasional companions, but not a permanent team, and lovelorn girls revolving around the protagonist. Leave that for your generic isekai; it doesn't work here.

Nah. The only one with wet clothing in need of drying is Goblin Slayer. The minotaur girl isn't wearing anything on her legs to get wet, and the other two didn't get in the water. So only GS needs to dry his clothes, and he'll either let them dry on him, or take off only the absolute minimum to dry. And seeing as I don't think GS got even waist deep in the water, while seeing him standing around fully armored from the waist up with his boots, pants, and leg armor off drying, I think he'll just let stuff dry as he wears it.

My problem with GS is it feels like they're not playing a TTRPG game like D&D or Sword World, but a Warhammer skirmish game where all the generic Goblins and NPC adventurers have just 1 Wound and they're dead. I think I can answer the harem disagreement. Cow Girl, Guild Girl, and Sword Maiden are all romantically interested in Goblin Slayer, so there is a justification for him having a harem. However, it's not the main focus. The main focus of Goblin Slayer is GS adventuring with his party. In the type of thing people usually call haremshit, the party would be the harem. It's like how Amuro has multiple love interests, but people don't call Gundam a harem because it's not the focus of the story.
