I love FMA and Brotherhood but now that I'm an old ass man who has spent a long time researching Alchemy, I can't help but feel this show missed so many opportunities.
Brotherhood's use of alchemy also devolved into "make rock shoot out" while the first adaptation used some clever chemistry.

I'll never understand the hate for Brotherhood. For everything it messes up (over-use of gag faces) it does three things right.
