long story short she finds the application for a job that pays well and that allows her to keep going to school, it is a job as maid in a rich mansion, so she goes there to get tested in the mansion to see if she can get the job, as soon as she takes a step inside the mansion the owner of it takes notice of her presence and says something like "that's the person I am looking for"

the owner of the mansion is the goddess amaterasu which has been reincarnated recently and is a little 5 year old bossy girl, her caretaker is an onmyoji dressed as a maid that is selecting the maids that will help take care of Amaterasu

along side Mika, a another girl her age and a boy a little bit younger have been selected, Amaterasu instantly makes them get maid and butter uniforms with her powers, they instantly change outfits and start working for her from now on

it is a slice of life comedy with heavy emphasis on battle, who will they battle? the yokai, oni, and other creatures from yami trying to kidnap amaterasu, aside from sometimes battling against other maids and butters from other Kami that may not like Amaterasu

Mika is a laid back sweet girl that is almost always smiling, she rarely gets angry or nervous, the other girl is the total opposite, she is always nervous and afraid, and the boy has the personality of Naruto, Mika receives powers from Amaterasu to protect her, her powers are healing people which soon evolve into regeneration and the capacity to absorb vital energy from others
