I think Killua is also a very well done deuteragonist. Both his relationship with gon and his development are spot on. Then there's Sasuke, the obvious big developped deuteragonist. What's sad is the author went too much into a manichaean development, with Sasuke being all muh darkness and edgyness and everything. It didn't have to be like that, he could have just decided to kill the elders of Konoha for example and told Naruto that he doesn't want to kill him but that if he wants to protect the elder then the only way is for Naruto to kill him, and that'd be enough of a reason for them to fight. Vegeta was always a second and never felt like a rival to Goku, Goku never really cared about him. Vegeta was the one always obsessed with Goku, and never the opposite. He always felt like a character to prop up Goku even more, and except his obsession about Goku in the end he doesn't have much of a personality. Yuno is just an emotionless guy who sometimes shout "Asta is my rival!" In Bleach.. I don't think there was any real deuteragonist? You'd say something like Ishida but he ended up being sidelined for the whole story until the absolute last arc or Renji but he never really does anything either after a certain point. Megumi while he's not as bland as Yuno is, kinda doesn't feel like a rival at all with Yuji, he's just a character with no real goal and that kinda just serves as a way for the plot to go forward, with a nice plot twist of Sukuna hijacking.
