The only Gundam I'd say is legitimately good is Thunderbolt Season 1 and Thunderbolt Season 2 has dogshit nonsense writing that unfortunately ruins it. 08th and 0083 are decent but corny, Zeta and Wing are watchable as cheesy action kino I guess. All other series are so dogshit. Gundam is such a nuanced form of dogshit, so pretentious yet so uninteresting, plots simultaneously ridden with glaring plot holes and filled with irrelevant time wasting. It makes no sense how bad anime like WfM and IBO are, the writing is toddler level.

I love Zeta a lot too, I rewatched it a few months ago. The factional conflict, themes, and Kamille's journey are so good. The main conflict is so bitter and brutal, and personal, so it's very compelling. As much of a shithead as Kamille was at the start it makes sense as we learn more about him and he grows.
