Himari and Chii this season have been some of the highlights for me, they way they have been portrayed has been ridiculously on point. They're not drastically different characters, Himari is still a barely functional retard and Chii is a overconfident jobber that everyone ignores, but they both now have a noticeable improvement in emotional intelligence from the first season that allows them be both be realistically supportive characters to those around them, as opposed to them being the ones that needed support in the first season. It's very enjoyable to see them that way.
