I'm a just casual observer of the progress who has been impressed.
I don't personally use any of the tools myself, and don't have an interest in doing so.
I don't have any vested interest one way or the other, aside from hoping anime doujin circles emerge and create stuff that looks good and is good so I can watch.
That is the path that we seem to currently be on. Since we've blown past all of the previous 'impossible' parts 'that would never happen'.
The only friction seems to be creators themselves having an aversion to using the new tools to create.
Similar to how I'm sure there are many people who still write their manga or doujins with ink, screentone, and manuscript paper rather than using digital.
No one is forcing anyone to change what they do. But I think naturally things are progressing as expected, and like the many people who use digital tools to create, some people will also use AI tools to create.
It's not a holy war unless you want it to be.
Humans have been though this same process countless times in many fields.
I support anyone if their work is good. Whether that be fully analog, digital, or generative-assisted.
It's their choice as an artist.
