One of the worst kinds of posters are people who hate something but have a deep emotional attachment to it. Usually when you don't like something you voice your displeasure of it and that's it but this series has the unfortunate privilege of being both few people talking about it AND a few people who have a serious axe to grind as they keep regurgitating their same exact complaints with the ending of the manga. It was especially noticeable during the manga dump when we reached the end and there was a collective "that's it?" when it turned out this travesty of an ending we had been hyped up on turned out to be fine.

In the end these threads are just bad vibes so it's no wonder they're a ghost town now.

I think some people who hate it forget that it's a romance manga with a vampire coat of paint. I've seen a number of people say the ending sucked because it didn't resolve some of the vampire things, but that was kind of the point of vampires. Most of what they "know" they state multiple times that it's just a rumor and they don't know for certain, so it's in line that we don't get answers
As for the "rushed" critique, I mean what else was there to do? Everything else was resolved after Hokkaido so anything substantive after that would have been dragging it on.

This series was always primarily about answering the question "What does it mean to love?" and the manga explores the various answers to this question with the different scenarios the MCs encounter throughout (Midori and Love-kun, Seri and Menhera, Kabura and Nazuna's mom, Anko and Nazuna, Anko's mom and dad, and of course the big driver of the later plot between Mahiru and Kiku. After going through all that they finally come to their own answer at the end, which was the whole point. Kou's solution to their dilemma at the very end may seem a bit pragmatic but what else would they do?

Yeah I get that. One manga I feel this way about is Nagatoro. It probably has to do with the more slice-of-life nature of the series that it annoyed me it took them so long (both in manga run time and the passage of time in the series) just to confess near the end and that was kind of it, especially since we got a "what would my future be like with them" thought process from Hachioji (can't remember if Nagatoro also had one of these). That kind of thing gives you expectations for more development beyond the confession.

I agree people who had that expectation reading this manga weren't paying attention to what this manga was about even though it was kind of stated very early on (I have to fall in love with you to become a vampire? But what is love?).
I think that's why I like BokuYaba more than other romance manga because their confession didn't take so long and the series is actually going beyond just that.
