This episode is still pretty interesting. First, all the characters appear in the color pages: the Shadow Warriors on the left, the Magic Association in the middle, and the Security Team on the right. The characters are still drawn in the same old style, but I don't want to complain about it. The Security Team is almost entirely blue, which surprised me because I thought they would be red. The Shadow Warriors are uniformly gray-toned. Placing the two color pages side by side forms a poster. The special edition single volume includes bonus content. Then there’s Ubel facing off against Routine. Routine picks up the statue’s sword and shield to duel Ubel. Land faces off against Iris, who is a poisonous assassin. Unfortunately, she encounters a Land clone warrior, rendering her poison attacks ineffective. Falsch supports the four, using magic to prevent "Unwanted personnel" (it came out in chinese so I separated it) from entering the battlefield, while the security team continues to watch the show from the sidelines.

The shadow warriors are effectively private citizens, they are no part of the offical political structure of the empire and hold no authority.
They also haven't done anything so far other than, draw up hitlists and two of their members choose to brawl with two of Serie's escorts at one of said escorts' provocation.
The empire also doesn't have any particular obigations towards Serie and her association, but part of why they're going to enter into talks is to negonicate some special rights and priviledges for Serie's mages.

How I would deal with this battle. Serie and her mages utterly overpower the Shadow Warriors right now, that’s just a fact. The SW side MUST have some preparations to neutralize Serie’s enormous advantage. They’re not doing a sports event, they’re trying to KILL the strongest mage in history, 2nd in power only the Demon King himself. They have to have something in place that they’re confident will get them the win. So what could it be? Maybe some extravagant anti-magic stone barrier to seal Serie and her top mages, kill them off in detail while they’re sealed, and ambush the roaming mages / deal with external re-inforcements before they can come in. Serie won’t just walk into something that could easily deal with her though, she WILL have countermeasures, and the SWs MUST be planning for that contingency. Basically the SW’s need a trump card. What will that be? Maybe the descendant of the Hero of the South will come in to deal with Serie at the critical turning point. Maybe they’ll have demons to come in and stop the roaming mages from breaking through. Maybe Kraft will come out, and everyone at that moment knows that Serie is fucked. There HAS to be something big in store, otherwise the SWs will just get fodderized.

I'm not sure what this guys next move is; but if he did all of that because he knows his other wife loves to snoop, then he's a genius.
