Uninspiring and also short.
Callbacks these days to earlier, first chapter(s) stuff are not smart, but lazy. It felt like Naito came up with this in 5 minutes, reused the fanservice scene from IIRC the oneshot and once again made almost all of the cast assemle. Typical MC monologue as the last thing.

Surely the final volume will have more pages, cause the usual page count doesn't add up.

I just don't get it. Are the girls going to achieve their personal goals in this timeline? Is Asahi still going to America or is that reserved for her own timeline? Looks like the four of them will stay in Japan, taking care of the shrine which is fine and all, but what exactly is their relationship to Uryu? They're just going to tease him until they die of old age or are they sharing him in this timeline?

I binged this up to around a hundred chapters a couple of years back. So based on the reactions, I am guessing author san wanted a harem end but couldn't get his way due to editorial restrictions and thus pulled some multidimensional shit with the fox deity where everyone wins in separate timelines?

Yae was my favourite. I wanted to watch the anime and get backbut the designs were such a letdown I lost all interest in the series.

I mean the magic isn't even necessary, the girls are fine sharing him in this timeline so branch timelines are pretty much unnecessary. I can't imagine them growing old without moving their relationship forward aka dates, having sex etc. The only thing they're missing here is the legal marriage, but they don't seem to care about that anyways? I know we're not supposed to look into things, but there was no point to the last six or so chapters desu.

>Yae
Mostly a static character and suffered a lot from lack of screentime and having to share her arcs with her sisters, her relationship with Uryuu was mostly static too but started out warm enough so it wasn't that much of an issue

>Yuna
Kind of a mess of a character, it feels like Naito had a lot of ideas for her (singing at a festival, challenging the Shinto tradition of male head priest, being Amagami by blood, etc.) but never did anything with them and just went for generic tsundere stuff, she barely had a relationship with Uryuu outside being tsundere and her arcs keeping her away from him didn't helped at all, she was cute but that's all there was to her

>Asahi
Good story and development, overall had the best chemistry and relationship with Uryuu after accepting her feelings and opening up to him, her arcs did a good job of developing both her character and relationship with Uryuu since unlike the other two she got to interact a lot with him on both arcs, Uryuu also got most of his development during her arcs, her route brought a nice conclusion to the name change theme and tied together her character arc

In the end Asahi>Yae>Yuna, 7/10 manga, could be higher if it wasn't for Shirahi and the retconned/forgotten stuff

I'll miss this manga. The only thing I'm confused about is where this chapter is supposed to be in the timeline and routes. Does it work like this maybe? -

1."main" story or "main route" (where its everything that has happened to before the 6 chapters of the split endings.
2. The split endings.
3. They experience the endings and are now back to "resume" or continue the "main" route or universe? Last chapter is...some time in the future, or where they are slightly older than from before the split routes part, judging from every one's appearance. (The final chapter).

I think this is how it is but its still confuses me how this works.

Okay, so now you are insisting that teasing is an Asahi exclusive thing and it doesn't matter if younger girls won before, they have to be teasers cause that's unique. Not the eldest sisters who never ever hope to win. Besides, you once again missed the most crucial point. Asahi had gigawank compared to the rest. Therefore ending up with the most screentime and it's not even a contest. If you want to go with the popularity aspect which you did, you have your reasons. There is no surprise in her winning this when Naito already hard-shilled her in her first arc, then went Namek in the second. It doesn't matter if she is a supposed teaser. Most of her teases if you can even call it that are implication towards Uryuu lusting over her pedo body. Such a teaser. My sides.
And I won't name 10 manga cause obviously I can't. That's a childish expectation just because somehow you think Asahi is some sort of mold breaker in the genre in which eldest sister never wins. But if you somehow manage to find something, please make sure we are not talking about works with obvious FMCs or titular heroines.
Anonymous No.281766483
I dropped this around 60%, it was too boring and the girls became boring.
The loli is nice, the big titty oneesama and her mom are hot, the tsundere is a waste of space and the priest/kitsune/mom is a cunt.
In the end i was rooting for the smol doctor but this ending as predicted is shit.
No modern mangaka had the balls to do the harem ending showing all the girls pregnant wuth multiple children.

Anon, even in Asahi's first arc the FAVORITISM meme got started. Let's face the obvious, shall we? He had the most screen time, most solo moments with Uryuu, treated differently the most from the other two, so when she dropped her mindset on marriage, dropped that she moves abroad, plethora of anons said that if single route ending happens, Asahi's win is a no brainer. So no, only in theory would Asahi be an unexpected winner compared to Yuna, but when you are halfway through the manga, you can't help, but feel she gets all the love from Naito hence FAVORITISM, so she got the earliest of earliest setups for victory. Therefore she is the obvious main heroine of the manga and there isn't anything unexpected in her win when the intention couldn't be more clear. Switch Asahi's screentime to Yae's and Yuna's, and Asahi winning this would have been the least expected surpprise outcome. But the journey was not like this.

It’s finally done. Is it as good as qq? No. Is it shitty like rag, cuckoo, or medaka? No. It’s decent, maybe one level above cafe and wnl.

Amagami had potential, like adding supernatural twist to harem genre and using structured arcs like qq or bunny senpai. He showed more passion but those are not enough. As a first time mangaka, I hope he learns from the anime weak boost. Less filler, better pacing, a stronger plot, and maybe not leaning so hard on wholesome chapters that can be boring.

Definitely not. Final arc started just when Yuna became honest with her feelings, spelling doom for her. Yae didn't get official with Uryuu in her second arc and not so much after time and time Uryuu said he is unsure of his feelings. This leaves Asahi, the only one with future setup and unfinished business as the expected outcome. Yuna is another Itsuki friendzone, Yae is unrequited love that didn't really move past of the fated meeting aspect.
