Your issue is the belief that the writer hates shonen or superheroes just because the tone is comedic

The "one punch" joke can only work for a while, the transition towards more classic shonen was inevitable. You can do it the right way, without losing your tone, like in the webcomic. Or you can do it the wrong way, with exaggerated "epicness" like the manga

The joke of OPM is that Saitama is OP from the start. The training arcs and gradual power ups are all skipped over. He’s unbeatable from the start. People really overstate the making fun of shonen tropes part. Gintama did that more than OPM ever did

The manga is still a parody and actually does it more subtly with more layers and consistency than the webcomic (by lack of talent).

The only people who claim it's being generic shonen are retarded who are actually addict to shonen "comedy" simply being the character being fun when acting like heroes.
Whereas OPM actually subvert and the archetypes to show the tropes at play behind them, satirizing them.

Truly good parodies always end up enraging fanboys, because they can't stand criticism.
