Idols are too often hypocrites.
Any idol with a boyfriend is breaking an implicit social contract between herself and her fans.
Because idols are selling a parasocial pseudo-girlfriend experience, and a part of that is maintaining the illusion by not dating other men.
You might claim that it's unfair to hold them to such a high standard, but I would counter that by saying that idols are elevated above normal people anyway, and therefore should be held to a higher standards.
Like, think about it. Why do idols always lie about having boyfriends?
Why do idols always get caught, and none of them just come up on stage and say "By the way, there's another man who I love more than any of you. You're giving me money to support me allowing a man who isn't you to put his penis inside of me and fill me with his semen."
It's almost like they understand that it's wrong and they're betraying their fans, but they don't want to face the consequences of their actions.
They want to have their cake and eat it too.
The "stalker" did nothing wrong.
