True for many other companies but for Capcom it's not the case if it comes to something sf6 levels of look and feel. I saw a video about it and it apparently takes up to a year to make a single character and the development is hell on its coders (only other game I heard in this situation was KOF13). It was very good and all my expectations were met reading it. Musashi went over philosophy on tools with comparisons with carpenters and artisans to samurais with building a skill and working on it. Situational awareness during and not during combat. Talked about flashy attack moves and how useless and bad they were in an actual combat situation and keeping balance and open thought in general.
Im I'm planning on getting back in shape and exercising then entering martial arts, starting with boxing then something more advanced and I wanted to read on stuff before I started and this book really gave an incredible description on fighting. I might even read it again and take notes if I have free time lol.
If your getting into martial arts or basic self defense instruction definitely read it.

It was wonderful reading that whole essay book. I haven't read that much Paru stuff except for the one with the Pitbull dog man and the Girl, which is a pretty nice goofy read on its own. Glad to see she found her own audience.
I also liked how she gave us a look into the Itagaki household. Really showed that Itagaki enjoyed making Manga while also also making sure he was making a living for his family. With even his wife being a fan of Baki as well. Probably the main drive that pushed him to create his work. No wonder his daughter followed in his footsteps. He must be so proud.
