I can't really think of any other good examples at this moment. Although if games are included, I suppose that the way Nia looks in Xenoblade 3 sort of falls into that. It is unclear how much she has actually grown since 2 (where she is definitely loli) due to an art style change. Monogatari also has a tendency to show you something way later to answer questions and take you mind off of it so other things can be focused on. Nisio nearly always avoids what is expected but also manages to make it interesting. With the variety of oddities and different characters messing with things, nearly anything can happen.

Much of it is spoiled by Hanamonogatari if you did the novel order. And it's still my recommended watch order because watching Hana last means that its themes have been spoiled and it's very deflated.

Its the quintessential monogatari season, it has funny conversations, it has great fanservice, it has almost all of the original and new fan favorite characters, all the returning characters besides maybe cat are in their A game and have amazing scenes (crab is great, snail is great, monkey is great, snake is great, bat is great, rrrgi himself is great), on the top3 for best visuals in the series, most new characters become classics like Kaiki, Yotsugi and the sisters get a bigger focus and guess what, they are also great.
