I only read source materials, most of which are said trash WNs directly off on Narou in JP, so I cannot agree there. Rezero and the other 2 are 'below standard' by western standards; by WN standards they're well above. Of course there's way more worldbuilding elsehwere, namely in series that feature constant wars like Nigoru Hitomi de Nani wo Negau: Highserk Senki where the author goes out of their way to draw maps even, or Janitor Hero (has to be officially dead despite the author's yearly apologies) which even considers actual unique and different cultures (that aren't just elf eat leaf heehee). Man I miss Janitor Hero because of that. Then there's Spearman and Black Cat which goes crazy with worldbuilding, although usually disconnected and kinda ruined by the authors blatant ADHD affecting his attention span while writing.
