sympathy? No. But I don't hate the very act itself either. It all depends on the situation.
For example a japanese family father committing suicide because he got fired or because he cheated is a horrible human being and I wish hell were real for him to end up in it, because you don't erase your shame by making life for your family even worse.
But someone suffering from terrible pain(actual pain, not "no one loves me~" bullshit) every day with no hope it will become better, suicide may be a good option for that person.
As long as people understand that there is no paradise waiting for them, nor nothingness, you will just cease to exist.
Many other reasons people commit suicide for, is just them being pathetic cowards.
