Do we know how Helem's power work in full? I forget if she specified details, but maybe killing her won't be an issue if her gift is solely related to raising puppets, and once they're raised they have their own life. Plus it potentially depends on conditions set during the creation process.
Arkos was made to obey her, Lacrima has no such thing, unless Helem is hiding it, so Lacrima may have been made to be her own person not tied to her, but she sneaked in a way to sense where she is at, or she can just inherently do that with her creations.

I just did. The twist didn't really land for me. Her grabbing the hair lock was good but 95% of her character is bullying the prophetess.

In my opinion, the pace is really weird, it's going so fast, yet everything's still very vague. I'll probably start keeping up with it weekly, but some chapters are kind of a chore.

I think he wanted to add a level of tension rather than a normal plot twist. Now we know Lacrima is basically a plant and all the plans and decisions they make will be known by the witch now. Technically, if you could the black haired kid, the main team has two (potential) moles in the groups, one definitely will give info to the witch, even if indirectly and the other might be working for the king.

Helem and the necromancy stuff has gone on for too long. The twist once you process it is more and more retarded. At this point I'm expecting the Prophetess to actually just be a Zombie/ Golem and Helem is hastening the anti-Christ. They need to kill off Helem or Diana needs to go full Hecate and Uno Reverse her power and cause her hoard of Undead to go rogue/ her blessing ripped from her. Preferably with Helem brought back as a Golem, but fully aware of what she's doing and more like a passanger in a car.

At this point it's not really entertaining. It's slowly becoming the gayest part of Dark Fantasy where the author gets way into being subversive or tryhard. It's why Berserk started to suck. You can't have someone beat the Will of Evil because you've made it all powerful.

I'm expecting some exposition on Lacrima's current situation or even a flashback to when she was resurrected, this chapter has left many open questions that would be nice to get answered even just partly. To me it seems that Helem is not in total control here and Lacrima has a genuine free will, but there is still some kind of connection between them if she can be used as a GPS tracker to locate Diana in the future.
