Anime-only here, just finished watching season 2. While the first season was a disappointment for me due to the unlikable characters (except Okarun, he rocks), their ADHD behavior, the cringe factor, and the obnoxious tone of the show, the second one was actually pretty good? I actually started caring about Momo and Okarun’s relationship, Jiji and Ayase were surprisingly fun to watch, the fat guy was alright too, the plot became interesting, and the fight scenes are actually good now. I honestly don’t know why I liked it more since they seem pretty similar -- maybe because my expectations for S1 were very high and very low for S2, but I ended up actually liking it.
