Cardstock. You can write on it with just about anything (tested ballpoint pen, micron pen, gel pen, colored pencil, standard graphite pencil, crayon) and can print on it with any inkjet printer (I haven't tried a laser printer).

I got assigned to an anon who had a favorite character with not a lot of merch and had an idea that involved hand making some merch myself using official art and screenshots and bought the stuff to do so a few days after assignments went out. However I was reassigned to someone who likes a character with an absolute shitton of merch. Would it be bad to continue with this idea with a character who actually has a lot of stuff in existence? The now would be bootleg merch isn't the main gift but it's an essential part of it.

Yes I did! Thank you so much! I thought I had posted any straggler cards I got in that late thread, but who is to say anymore. I'm always happy when I find people who also love Ikuhara's work. I do agree with what you say about the revstar tv series, though. In a way, it feels like it isn't living up to all it could be, but I've come to like how well it sets up the film. Besides the flashbacks, the film is pretty non-stop with the revues, and I think that wouldn't have felt so impactful without the more spaced out tv series. Really, I think the biggest missed potential is the OP. It... is fine... but they could have done something much more interesting given the subject of the show. Hopefully you've ended up giving Vampire Bund a watch too! I've realized that people aren't nearly as positive about that show as I am, but there is something special about it to me, and its a favourite of mine for sure. I actually just got done re-reading the manga again, so it's fresh in my mind still.
They candies were very welcome too, although I'm a bit hazy on what they all were by now. I remember that the peanut one was really good, and that it seems like all candy in Mexico has chili powder in it.

Your Kurisu was very cute and the CG choice was great! This particular one always holds a special place in my heart since it's the first time we see her. I really get what you mean about people not watching that era's shows anymore, but I don't think audiences with modern sensibilities would really appreciate them and I prefer it this way. Still, looking back at those times we really were spoiled for shows as each season had some real gems that are mostly forgotten now ( [C] and Bimbougami my loves...). I considered watching Planetes after reading the manga but when checking the number of episodes I thought that 26 were too many for such a short manga with a perfectly tight pacing and was also worried that the more somber parts couldn't be adapted well in anime format, think I should give it a try? Of course I also really enjoyed all the snacks and the wrapping was a really nice touch! I think my favorite snack was coffee crisp because of the great aftertaste and my favorite cocoa was one that tasted like it had some mint? I don't remember which one it was and I usually don't like chocomint but in this case it felt just right.

I don't trust paper envelopes not to wear from protrusions inside them, and anything over a certain width counts as a different price band in my local postal service. I would use a small padded envelope to keep everything safe, sometimes those count as a large letter instead of a parcel. Once it counts as a parcel it doesn't matter size-wise between padded envelope and a small box, just keep an eye on the weight, especially as boxes need padding.
