Imperial Chronicles is incredibly good. Probably the best weg I've tried. And I've tried dozens of them, but I always drop them because they're really just cheap porn with forgettable caricatures of characters in settings where things just happen and the main character just happens to get laid. This one, however, has a fascinating story and characters that feel like people. The only big issue I have with it is the poor English. The author should really get someone to fix it.

Ironically neither are true moms without a patch but I prefer unpatched for these.

I wouldn't call it a fantasy weg, but Desert Stalker is something like that. It's a post-apocalypse game, but with weird elements like mutants and hive-people and stalker-like stuff and some ancient egyptian themes, so it occasionally feels like a fantasy game. You live on some oasis/complex with wife+daughters+slaves and go around being a badass (he doesn't really look like much of a badass imo but whatever), finding more slaves/harem members occasionally, serving the queen and dominating her if you want, as well as the rest of the female characters. The sharing stuff was 100% avoidable last I played, you have to jump through multiple warning hoops and make entirely obvious choices in that direction to even get there.

I disagree with you. Wegs do need to be of high quality, and just being a guy working on it is no excuse. What happens is that its quality must lie in the things that make a good "weg", not good literature or any comparable art.
In other words, the art and writing don't really need to be on par with classic literature or comics or movies, simply because that's not necessary for a good WEG. What a WEG needs to be good at is offering that atmosphere of lewdness and eroticism almost all of the time.
Ironically, one of the most successful WEGs, Summertime Saga, which has even become a meme among the community, is a great example of this, especially in its early versions.
The art is bad, the writing is kind of crap, the gameplay is just terrible, and that game literally became a scam nowadays, but if you forget all that and focus only on the idea of "lust", you'll see that the early versions of Summertime Saga were extremely good at creating an atmosphere of permanent lewdness. They're alright. Something to check out in between updates of the bigger HS2 wegs. MBIML has pregnancy which is the main appeal for me, but otherwise it's an average drama/slice of life harem weg. Sicae is more plot-driven, a modern/urban fantasy which seems to be sort of a trend with HS2 wegs lately. And it gets edgy after the first few chapters.
