I haven't had a proper orgasm for maybe two months now. I can get aroused while I'm teasing myself (it has become harder) but when I cum, I don't feel anything. I used to have amazing faps last year but now I don't. I've tried going back to images instead of videos. I tried abstaining for a week. I've tried exercising more and eating healthy. Nothing helped. I possibly fucked my dopamine receptors, because I feel anhedonic sometimes in my daily life.

wat do? no normalfag advices

extreme stress, depression, a lot of other issues can lead to this. If the nervous system could be so easily damaged by simply jerking off, everyone who has ever lived would be having issues.

If it's negatively affecting your daily life as you say, talk to a doctor. It's not normal.

how many days would be enough?
>>33194141
it would make sense because I am recovering from a painful depression. I know a doctor I could talk to, but concretely, what would that do? I don't want to take meds if possible.

i haven't jerked off in 25 years. i find it very amusing that people who engage in sin always have to insist that the whole world engages in it too. that is not true at all.

it does do shit tons of damage. prostate cancer is the third leading cause of death in men. the only cause of that is jerking off.

of course that is just one of the laundry list of diseases that can be caused by masturbation. things like ED and desensitization are common.

i didn't mean to preach but in every one of these threads, a person like you comes along spouting mistruths that ought to be countered.

Depends on how addicted you are to porn.
I was addicted to porn to the point that I would jack off whenever I wasn't really horny, I literally just had a craving for porn. I wouldn't have an erection or anything.
Without porn I only really get naturally horny like once or twice a week but jacking off feels way better when you're actually horny.
Most people recommend doing 90 days of pure abstinence from looking at porn. Jacking off is OK if you are actually horny. Try to use your imagination.
That being said, my goal wasn't to never look at porn again, it was to be able to use a small amount of it (one video or a few images) to be able to masturbate to completion because I was extremely desensitized. Like I would scroll 1000 images of 100 different girls in a single session.

doujinshi, images, animations. I am trying to at least remove the last one from my life as it is the most retarded kind of porn I consume, it doesn't stimulate imagination and makes me feel like a mongoloid after I finish fapping.

>jack off whenever I wasn't really horny
that hits close to home. it feels amazing when you're actually horny, but it's just so-so when you're fapping to pass the time. 90 days seems like a good final goal. I'll try to last two weeks to a month for a start. I'll do what you said and only use my imagination if I really need to fap. just like you, I don't want to stop fapping; I just want it to feel like it used to.
>I would scroll 1000 images of 100 different girls in a single session
that shit happened to me last month, it was painful to see. it was like I became braindead; mindlessly masturbating without considering a character's special traits. I felt awful that day.

I respect that and wish I were the same. It's like it's stealing my time and creativity sometimes. Unfortunately, I have little interest in christianity and I don't think it's as dramatic as you think.

The technical term for this is sexual anhedonia, if you want to do some googling. Medication such as antipsychotics or antidepressants would be an obvious possible cause. Poor diet might cause it too.

familiar with the term but i think it's different. it seems that people with sexual anhedonia are born with it, whereas i didn't have the condition until recently. I took 20 mg of prozac a day for maybe 1 or 2 months in my life, but that was last year, and I stopped as soon as I could. do you think that was enough to cause that? My diet is good.

It's possible, but unless the onset of the problem coincided with you starting to take the Prozac, it's not very likely.

This is objectively false. I fap 3-5 times a day. I am 48, been fapping since I was 12, I get regular check ups and everything is all good. Also the scientific data does not support your claim. Take your fear mongering elsewhere.

The only kind of orgasm worth having is an improper one.
