Long story short,
I have been w my gf for 2 years now.
I found out she cheated on me with a co-worker at medschool.
I had a strange suspension when she was in the shower something was off. I get on her phone and see heart emojis and “can’t wait to see you again”
I don’t think, I just run into the bathroom and threw a couple jabs at her in the shower. She falls in the tub crying.
A day later we talk about it decide we should split.
I than realize I can’t afford the land property unless she stays around so I say we should just be roommates, she leaves.

>1 day later

She tells her brother about the whole situation while I’m home alone without my knowledge.(Never meant him before)
*knocks on the door*
I answer and say wassup
(Seen him in photos and stuff)
He asked if I hit his sister
>”yes”
>”bro thats my sister”
>”ok well she’s a whore & cheated”
Things get heated and I end up beating his ass on my porch.
He leaves and I text her about what happened.
She hasn’t been back home and left all her stuff here.

>3 days later

Still home alone.
>get a text from her brother

It is a link to the county
website
I have a warrant for domestic battery and 2 assault charges

I have a clean record. Am I fucked? I don’t want to go to prison. What do I do? I feel like I didn’t do anything wrong. I’m drunk idk what to do.

Should have just kicked her out instead, even if she deserved it. Now you have to face the consequences of being an impulsive retard.
You might be able to come of this with lighter punishment if you get a good lawyer and convince them the circunstances made you act irrationally.

First off: confirm you actually have a warrant. You should be able to look this up online or by phone. Be aware though, that if you call the police number asking if you have a warrant, and they say "yes", they are going to want to know precisely where you are right now. Police can and will be able to trace you from your phone, especially if you call them and there is a manhunt.

If you have an open warrant then you need to turn yourself in immediately. Not saying you are guilty, but that warrant needs to be handled ASAP or it will come back to haunt you. Right now the police only have one side of the story (theirs), so the best thing you can do for yourself is turn yourself in immediately and give them your side of the story.

>Do not bring any weapons, contraband, or illegal items on your person or in your vehicle/baggage when surrendering. You WILL be booked in to jail, and depending on where you live (e.g. USA) it is extra charges (felonies) if contraband is brought in to jail.
>If you have a lawyer, call them immediately and ask them for advice.
>Arrange Bail/Bond in advance if possible.
>Choose the time/place to surrender. Keep ALL records of this surrender.
>Notify family or employer that you may be unavailable. e.g. Call your work or your children's school to tell them you are being arrested and will not be able to show up.
>If you have duties/obligations, call someone who you trust who can handle them. Someone to feed your children, pet(s), turn off the oven, park your vehicle back home (or at least somewhere where it won't get towed/stolen), turn on your home's security system/etc.
>Bring essential medications, IDs, and limit what you carry to avoid contraband issues.

On a side note: make sure you do not break any laws between now and when you turn yourself in. Follow all traffic laws, and do not contact this party you are having a dispute with.

Assuming you live in USA. Only answer the essential police questions, not case-specific questions without your lawyer present. Do not answer anything related to the case directly if the police ask about it, say "I am not going to speak without a lawyer present", and request a lawyer (but don't be a jackass about it). Police can and will lie to get what they want, but they are still legally bound (or the case can get thrown out if they violate your rights). They will typically be friendly towards you to built rapport (e.g. during interrogation) and then try to talk about the case to get you to incriminate yourself.

e.g. things you probably NEED to talk to the police about.
>identify yourself (name, DOB, etc)
>residence, citizenship status, etc.
>if you're willing to take a breathalyzer, etc. Or anything else mandated by law.
>what medicines you are taking, if you're diabetic/epileptic/etc.
>if you are on parole/probation

Things you should NOT talk to police about
>ANYTHING related to the case itself, without speaking to a lawyer (and ideally having a lawyer present).

If you have money you can bail out. If you have money you can get a decent lawyer. You’ll get something for beating your bitch but you can probably get the brother stuff taken off because he came to your house with intent obviously.

Also, goes without saying. But do not post/discuss anything related to this case anywhere else, or with anyone else but your lawyer (including on 4chan). Police can e.g. get a search warrant for your phone/social media and see what your texts, phone calls, posts are, etc.

In addition to what

>>33195933
and
>>33195991

have already said, remember this: cops deal with all sorts of fantastical wild stories every day. Anyone can say anything about anyone at anytime for any reason regardless of truthfulness. That's why they go off evidence not someone's story alone.

Only answer questions with you attorney present. DO NOT even take a "Free cup of water/coke/ice and/or cigarette" at any time because it can be used to collect your DNA without consent.

Best thing for you is silence. Turn yourself in, but like
>>33195991
says, Silence is your best defense. Don't be an ass and refuse basic information like your identity, but keep it to a minimum and ask for a lawyer to speak about anything case-related.

Hire a lawyer and shut the fuck up. Do not talk about this with anyone, because anything you say can be used against you, including this thread if the police find it. You literally just admitted to an unprovoked battery in the OP. Are you aware you have just admitted to a felony? Dont fucking do that again.

This is why I am forever alone. Its not that I couldn't get a gf, I have had plenty of them. Its that if a girl cheated on me I would decapitate her.

I genuinely dont think he did anything wrong, he threw a couple of jabs at a cheating whore who threw 2 years down the drain, thats justified imo, beating up the brother? also justified, he came to the property and got his shit rocked, self defence. All I see is a whore and a self defense situation

i wouldn't care. i would not trust that person or fuck them ever again, but i wouldn't feel anger or sadness.

Idk i was very out of character, nobody should have power over me like that.
After talking to ppl in my life and a few different lawyers they think I will ONLY get probation since I have a clean record. I’m turning myself in Sunday. They said I will only be in a jail for a few hours and I can bail out which is good. Knowing this I don’t regret anything. I’m not gonna lose my job or anything which is good.

I certainly hope so.
>I don’t want to go to prison. What do I do?
Get a decent lawyer and then plead guilty to the mildest charges your lawyer can bargain it down to. You may be able to reduce it to something like common assault. You won't do prison time for that.
>I feel like I didn’t do anything wrong.
Then you're a fucking idiot.

Do they have any actual proof you did it? You have to be found guilty in a court of law first in order to get a criminal record. I'd start by not confessing to it on the internet, then turn yourself in and don't say shit to the police without a lawyer present.

Legally, you fucked up, but don't let anyone tell you what you did was immoral, it wasn't.
Betrayals like that should be paid with violence.
What exactly happened between you and her brother that lead to fists being thrown?
Did he throw the first punch or threaten you? If so, you have reasonably good odds of getting the assault charge related to the brother dropped.
