It is true the world has a few horrorifying individuals. Despite that, the world is actually a lot nicer than you realize. What that means, is that you just have to work harder than everyone else, and that is okay. Some people have to work less, and some have to work more. It is what it is. You can get through it all if you keep on trying and looking. Just stop getting distracted by how depressing your current situation is, that's like having to stand in the middle of a battlefield looking at everything instead of charging forward.
