I'm not even ugly. I have good pictures. I've even done well on the apps before. What is this shit? Is hoeflation really that bad? Is it the apps themselves that throttle people like me and hide profiles with engagement based matchmaking? Has the dating meta changed? Do I have to making my profile as outrageous as possible to stand out like a jester dancing for crumbs of pussy? Are there any good apps or are they all this bad?
I'm so frustrated if this is supposed to be in indicator of my attractiveness.

Dating apps are currently in a crisis, and I mean this from the perspective of the corporations. There were already problems for men with having extreme male:female ratios, but sentiment against dating apps is getting worse and worse, causing women to use them less than before. If you’re not in a college town then I’m sorry to say that you can’t expect more than a match every few weeks.
Explore real-life options. Young women join book clubs and gyms hoping to meet men.

if you can stomach it, make a woman profile and browse your competition. then you'll get it.
this space is extremely competitive as a male and a decent profile 2 years ago won't get you any matches today.
if you're not a special outlier in several categories (face, height, money, status, fitness, etc.), you'll get very few & low-quality matches, if at all.

I'm not even a black piller, I used to get laid easily off tinder but nowadays I know my profile won't cut it (not willing to put AI pics/catfish/etc.)

Well, guess what chief, if you're not matching with 5/10 girls regularly and even with premium dating app subscriptions you're getting next to no matches, chances are you're extremely average or even below average looking.

I was on one particularly well-known dating app for a decade (not Tinder). I got quite a few dates from them but they never ever resulted in a second date. Why would any woman try to make it work if they can keep swiping and get fucked by someone prettier and richer? It's a racket. Meet people in person because if you're competing against a thousand other men every day, you will lose.
