"Y'all" is NOT and will NEVER be Southern and has never been part of the vernacular of the Antebellum South not will it be ever used by her true sons and one only needs to investigate the etymology of the word to know that I speak the truth and you are a damned liar. Right quick and other such expressions are prototypical holdovers of the aristocratic accent which predates the South itself from high society eastern coast England. Y'all is an abomination to a real Southener and is an utterance of the Texicano-Nashville transplant south with its origins traced to the irascible negroe. Editors note. I meant nor not not somewhere in the first second and accent not accident following southern at some point later which also was not capitalized.
