Last year Helene hit my town pretty bad, no power or gas for a month. A few neighborhoods close by had no drinking water for a week.

So this year I want to get some emergency rations together.

We are 3 people, 5 cats and 4 chickens. We have a big property and we had enough wood lying about to cook over a makeshift grill. We also have a ton of rice around, enough to eat daily for a few months. A solar panel on our greenhouse was enough to power our a few devices last time so I am not worried about batteries.

The rations I want to get are:
>6 cans of corn
>6 cans of black beans
>6 cans of kidney beans
>8 cans tomato sauce
>2 cans coconut cream
>4x16oz lentils
>5lb flour
>12 gallons of water

That should be plenty to cook us stuff like curry and chili for a few weeks along with having water for at least a week.

Could I be forgetting something? I never truly had to prepare for an emergency situation.

I would like to comfortably stay at home for at least a week. Maybe two. That's how long it took for the worst chaos to subside last time.

I don't have a ton of money so I can't get stuff like a generator or a supply of gasoline.

leave them outside and have them eat endangered birds as cats do

They have a fully fenced area in the yard, the patio and one of the rooms. So the smell isn't that bad. I'm not happy to have 5 cats but so far we haven't found any adoptees.

The cats are only really a concern when it comes to water since we also have plenty of food stocked for them at all times.

You know you can test your theory beforehand, right? Try living on just your ingredient list for a week or two and you'll see what you lack and what you can do without.
Personally, looks like your list relies a lot on water. Consider rainwater collection and a purifying filter. It may be technically illegal where you live, but that's only if you're caught, and you look like you're well enough in the sticks that there's little risk of that. Most sane people don't give a shit as long as you have a bug screen over the opening and cycle the water regularly so it's not an algae or mosquito breeding ground.
