I see your point, and it does make sense. I feel like the best stuff in life must come sort of naturally, and I don't mean like just waiting for stuff to happen in your favor, but more like, just be natural, do your stuff without tryharding too much to get someone's attention, and 'just beeing yourself'™. I can sort of agree to that point of view.

But also, at the same time, the person must do SOME effort.
