what advice would you give an ignorant 28 years old who's just now about to face the real world? I wasted half my 20s and spent the other half up to now working in a trade, no gf, grew apart from friends. Share the wisdom anons.

Make it a priority to learn basic 21st century human skills. Learn to drive, to cook (at least minimally), to manage money, etc

Go out constantly
Get a hobby that can be done with others, I recommend learning an instrument and joining a band
Stay in shape
How do you feel about your job in the trades? If you don't like it or you're indifferent to it I recommend starting on a degree now. Even if you like your job I would still recommend a degree in case you want to get out of it later.
Find a gf who loves you. If you think things are hard now, things are going to rapidly get worse once you turn 30. The emotional pain of loneliness eventually becomes physical pain.

I'm indifferent but getting a degree is a huge time+MONEY investment
