There are things you can do about that, it's not a fact of life it's just your perspective and mindset potentially effected by trauma, neglect or a genuine chemical/hormonal problem, but it will be very hard to do anything at all about it if you're convinced that it's life that's inherently hellish rather than that it's just you who is in a personal hell.

Our brains are wired to seek companionship because for millions of years we've been living in small communities and being alone meant death. Nowadays we live in megacities of millions of people and spending your life without actually talking to anyone is not only feasible, it's actually the easiest way to live.
In different words, we live in an environment completely different from the one we evolved for, and no wonder our brains go apeshit.
