Two questions

1. Is this just live? Do I just accept it and live as if I am gonna be alone forever, just not to keep hurting myself?
2. What do you guys do alone that makes you ahppy? I do gym, kinda religious, meet with this group every week, studying cfa (no one cares bro). what else can i do? What do you guys like to do alone?

It's a very good question that I think about almost every day. I often wonder what my mates are doing in their free time. It's very interesting to think about it, I don't know why.
I'm finally getting back into video games, thank God. They're an escape I've had for as long as I can remember, and losing interest in them for the past few years scared me as I frankly didn't know what else I could've been doing with my free time.
Surfing the web all day gets repetitive, and reading is great but it's very taxing so I can only do it in short bursts.
But being able to sit down and get truly immersed in a really good game for multiple hours is a pleasure I wish I could share with everyone. It's like living in a dream.

Listen man, if you were in the same kayak and talking a lot, and didn't tell you she was taken until days later, she is into you and not that into her boyfriend. Take that as a compliment.

It doesn't mean she is going to ditch him for you, nor should you want her to. All I'm saying is this means you're probably an attractive guy. Keep putting yourself out there and talking to women and you'll find a gf. You can't rush these things. Finding the wrong girl can ruin your life.

Why don’t you ask her if she knows anyone single? You can say you have a hard time meeting people and online dating is such a slog.

You can still enjoy the company of others without a relationship. Doing things with people is a great way to meet people.
