My boy has been talking to this girl for a few weeks and took her on a date today to a food festival and by the end of it she gifted him a "friendship ring" lol his words. I didnt respond to it bc I didnt have the courage to rub salt in the wound I believe he is still in denial and naively optimistic.. he followed it up with another message "why does it feel like a promise ring" - guy is delusional if he still believes she is into him, right?
