I attempt to articulate things in ways that just sound dumb, to the point that I think anyone reading anything I type will just stop reading, or get the sense that I am a retard articulating something which could be said more succinctly and simply.

I've also wondered multiple times before if any single thing I have to say is just obvious and just goes without saying, but that's in part because I don't really know how retarded the average person is. This is also in the context of the internet for the most part, and I don't interact with a lot of people IRL. I haven't because I was homeschooled in my highschool years.

I know this is a gay problem, but I just want to know how to become less linguistically retarded, and generally retarded to the extent I can. As far as guaging where I'm at goes, well, that's really just a matter of humility and experience.

My problem is I lack vocabulary and the prowess to intelligently structure anything. It's not uncommon for me to run into the need for words I can't remember to articulate things. I don't know if there's any one way to go about this but I think there must be something I can do to make myself not as retarded in that regard.

Find books that you actually enjoy. There's a whole lot out there. It doesn't work if it's a book you don't like. There's a reason they have kids read A Catcher In the Rye. Holden communicates deep thoughts with plain common speech, it's a great read

Maybe sometimes, but I think it's more like that I would find it redundant and know some less "in the weeds" perspective. I digress. That's vague and unspecific, I can't think of any breif examples off the top of my head.

There you go. Get off the Internet and start talking to strangers irl about concise matters of interest, such as how to cook something.

I've been told I have a good vocabulary and am a good writer. I recommend listening to people whose communication style you like. This can mean interviews, podcasts, and so on. Reading is also a good idea, but don't force yourself to read things. Random recommendation: Choke by Chuck Palahniuk. It's pretty crazy. Another thing you can do is explain concepts in your own words to yourself. Explain things as if you were teaching someone.

Two rules for life:

1. Short words are almost always better than long ones. The simple, natural way to say something may not be eloquent and impressive, but it gets the message delivered, while trying to sound impressive can often get in the way of communication

2. When writing, NEVER show anyone the first draft of anything. Write it down for yourself first, and then look at it to make it clearer and more exactly what you want to say

i wouldn't worry about that because retards and goyslaves will always hate you for being better than them at anything and this is the case with writing anytime you use a word that's more than 2 syllables they blow a gasket and go cross-eyed because they can't stand the fact that you stick out from the crowd while they don't. most ppl are illiterate and don't dedicate time to reading but then within that most people who do dedicate time to reading are reading goyslop anyway or some reddit + 4chan /lit/ author whose place within a given status quo impressed them into reading him rather than any concordance with their preexisting interests or affinities probably because they have none. i was also homeschooled but i'm probably older than you so my advice is to not think too hard about what the masses think because they got mentally raped by oversocialization during hs and now they can't distinguish between that which is really of interest to them and that which just has a certain cashet among their peers...
