I don't think they think of you as anything more than a usual customer. Maybe you should try talking to people more openly and stop worrying about what you think they might be thinking. They probably don't notice you for the most part, but that isn't what bothers you. Be noticed and let them form a real opinion. Inevitably some will think you're a loser, but so what? Some people will like you, and that's good enough.

No, they see you as a regular. Businesses love regulars. You’re a sign that they are doing something right. You’ll notice they are fond of you the minute you stop going for weeks or months, then when you come back they remark about it. “Wow havent seen you here since forever, anon. Thanks for the praise anon. I was a neet too, for decades, I also used to frequent a regular spot every day. Old family run place. Cozy times. Just cuz OP is a neet doesnt mean he is useless or something. Being neet and down on luck is a full time job of its own. It aint easy navigating all that boredom and bad feelings 24/7. Its hard work, so I respect OP for at least getting out the house to relax a bit

I work at a cafe and its pretty common. I recognize regulars even if I don't interact with them or know names. Polite regulars are what keep those places afloat so they appreciate you even if they don't say it outright.
