I signed up for speed dating event tommorow(ages 30-40). Please advise on how to not fumble it.

Don't talk about boring stuff. A bunch of guys will have defaulted to asking about her jobs or hobbies, and you'll just blend in with the rest. Try to be more unique. A good one is asking her what she would do if she had the opportunity to start her dream small business. Subsequently, you can seize on a specific point and keep the conversation flowing like that.
Also, avoid talking about yourself. Your goal is to spend every second making her feel good about herself. If you get onto the topic of hobbies, immediately latch onto whatever she mentions and let her geek out over it.

Op here
came to event location to see small bistro, that was closed. Information on doors was that it's open monday-friday. Seeing nobody I double check my mail about event details, see new mail from yesterday, sent on midnight. "due to summer holidays too many people called off their attendance, event is rescheduled to september". So I got scammed, ticket was 15 euro.
