Need a job that requires diploma but doesn't check. I also don't have a license so I can't do delivery jobs. Wagie jobs like Mcdonalds and walmart don't wanna hire me. I'm 18+ tho and working on getting a diploma and expect to get one in the next few months. But for now I just really need to get a job.

Because the ones that don't won't hire me. But I heard some jobs that "require" a diploma don't actually check. I see the confusion, though so my bad for not making things clearer. I should've said something along the lines of "I can't get any wagie jobs but don't have a diploma, what other jobs can I get that don't verify if you have a diploma or not?"

Job ads are wishlists, describing the dream candidate. If that person doesn't show up, they take the best of those who do. That means that any requirement is negotiable, though it would be up to you to convince them that you're the best choice despite not having a diploma.

If you are six months or less from graduation, just put in your letter and CV "Diploma to be awarded September 2025" and you will be treated as if you already have it.

I guess that makes sense. I’ll give it a shot since the alternative is unemployment regardless.

Really, how does this work? Is there anywhere I can read more up on this?

Just apply for jobs that require one, if you get hired they don't check.

Find some obscure card shop that gets too much attention from scalpers and ask if they need hired help.
