How do I stop feeling like shit, sleepy and groggy after a nap?
I also feel like shit even when I cannot take a nap because I have chronic fatigue, I just feel tired and sleepy but cannot rest. I once fixed it by decreasing my time on the phone but now it got back, when I am outside for more than a 10 minutes walk I am not fatigued, sometime when I watch an engaging movie on the TV I am not fatigued, but otherwise I feel like shit.
I want to die.

You're probably "depressed".

Get outside more, do a daily 30+ minute walk. - This will make you feel better.
Start running/exercise. - This will make you feel better and getting a routine will give you purpose in life

Take Vitamin D3 supplements and others
Make sure you're drinking enough water.

Time your "naps" correctly your body has no idea what a "nap" is it will just release the same chemicals that happen when you go to sleep, if you wake up during a cycle of chemicals you will feel like shit.

>chronic fatigue
Doesn't exist you're just being lazy.
>You're probably "depressed".
depression doesn't exist, it's just a accumulation of multiple things that presents itself as one thing.

Be water, my friend.

You probably have a shitty diet. And do you do any exercises during the week? You have to make exercise/movement + Healthy diet your default

Time your naps carefully. You need to give yourself exactly enough time to go through one complete asleep cycle. What makes you groggy is having to wake up quickly from very deep sleep.

No doubt this is true but I don't know how to fix it.

>You probably have a shitty diet.
I doubt this.
>And do you do any exercises during the week?
I work out 3 times a week.
>>33395381
How do I do this?
>>33395389
>Open your windows
What? My windows are open at all times except when I have to prevent the outside heat from getting inside such as when I have the air conditioner turned on.
>Fix your diet
I'm vegetarian but I'm pretty sure my diet is fine.
>Develop at least some muscle
I have some muscles very developed from my workout, in fact too developed for my own taste. I am getting bigger than I wish i was and I need advice on not getting big. I can't stop working out not just because of my health, but also because I need to fix my posture and learn calisthenics skills. Actually I am in so much pain when working out that it's probably not doing me any good, except I am in pain when I don't work out either.

Both depression and chronic fatigue are real, you're lucky enough to not suffer from this but don't pretend others are as lucky as you.

you'll be fine, don't worry, my friend. and you know what, I understand you, because Iโ€™m tired too. many people do not understand when something is written about such things, so if you cannot do something due to your apathy, then it is better to turn to therapy and find people who understand. know that there is a person who is glad for your existence

EVERYTHING SHOULD BE DISCUSSED WITH A DOCTOR, NOT HERE, BECAUSE NOBODY CARES IN CARE CARE CARE!!! I HOPE YOU UNDERSTAND THIS :))) everyone thinks only about their problems and thatโ€™s a fact. People are selfish animals who live for their own needs.

Doctors didn't help me at all with my chronic pain, and I don't have enough faith in doctors to think they will be helpful with my chronic fatigue nor do I have the time and money to go to the doctors for all the problems I have with my health.

I'm sorry, I'm sorry for writing about this. I also did not receive proper treatment from doctors and I know how difficult it is.

How long are your naps? They shouldn't be longer than 15-20 minutes.

I like a 20 minute nap, anything over that makes me feel groggy and grumpy but anything under isn't restful to me.
Coffee also helps a lot.

>How do I do this?
You might need to experiment a bit with different nap lengths. A short nap generally doesn't let you get down into deep sleep at all. Try 15-20 minutes for that. You may possibly also be able to take a longer nap and go through a full cycle of sleep; that will likely take 60-90 minutes.

Alarm clock, very short naps. You can only feel groggy for napping too long, not too little. Start at 20 minutes (or 25 if it takes you some time to fall asleep) and keep moving it down a minute if you still feel groggy until you find the right timing. Longer naps are not really necessary as short ones provide very good rest already, besides the fact that they are much harder to time right consistently and screwing them up lead to extremely shitty feelings like you describe

I find most short naps are like that, your body doesn't get a chance to completely decompress just to relax enough to leave you refreshed.
